Welcome to ScriptureDesk ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using ScriptureDesk (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
ScriptureDesk provides tools for reading Scripture, saving verses, organizing topics, and writing personal reflections. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service
- attempt to access it in an unauthorized manner
- interfere with its normal operation
- use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
2. Accounts
Some features of the Service require an account. You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- all activity that occurs under your account
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. User Content
You retain full ownership of the content you create within ScriptureDesk, including notes, reflections, and saved verses ("User Content").
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
We do not claim ownership over your content.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content (excluding User Content), is the property of ScriptureDesk and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.
5. Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of the Service for your particular needs.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScriptureDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ScriptureDesk operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
